WEBDec 19, 2022 · I played Ragnarok on GMGOW and I haven't tried the hardest two optional bosses yet, but compared to this difficulty, Elden Ring feels much easier so far. Ragnarok's difficulty is a bit more bullshit in some sense especially on GMGOW and your power level is pretty capped. You can kinda break and cheese the game in Elden Ring at least.

So yeah, I think side quests are definitely worth it. Muspelheim and Niflheim are combat heavy end game gear farming, so they can be skipped without losing much.
