The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed another case of Monkey Pox, also known Mpox, raising the total number of cases recorded in Ghana to two.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (PSGH) has taken note of the report by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) of the first confirmed case of mpox in Ghana, as well as about 230 suspected cases.

Ghana's health service has reported the country's first case of mpox this year, without disclosing which variant had been recorded, according to a statement.
