Georgia went ahead early and kept Auburn at bay to bounce back from its loss at Alabama. It was the Bulldogs' ninth straight win against the Tigers.

As for the minimal carries — one of 1-to-3 yards — it had 11 against Georgia, which matched the same tally against the Razorbacks. However, Auburn ran the ball 23 times against Arkansas. That meant nearly half its carries against the Razorbacks were minimal. A little more than a third of them, 35%, were minimal against Georgia.
