Netflix has apologised after a much-publicised livestream of its hit dating show was delayed due to a glitch. The Love is Blind reunion aired at 20:00 BST (15:00 ET) on Monday in a pre-recorded broadcast. Fans of the show, which involves couples getting engaged before they see each other, vented their frustrations on social media.

A contestant on the second series of Netflix show Love Is Blind is suing the streaming service over alleged breaches of labour laws. Jeremy Hartwell alleges that producers encouraged the cast to drink alcohol, while limiting access to food and water and underpaying them.

Now, Love is Blind is entering Europe with a Swedish adaption. The call for casting is open, and singles aged between 25 and 45 years old are encouraged to apply here. Love is Blind: Sweden will be produced by Mastiff Sweden and production is planned to begin next year, with a global launch date on Netflix yet to be announced.

Netflix renewed Love Is Blind for a fourth and fifth season on March 24, 2022. The fourth season premiered on March 24, 2023. The fifth season is scheduled to premiere on September 22, 2023.
